Asus Prepping Support for Core-i9 CPUs

asus logo1 300x240 Asus Prepping Support for Core i9 CPUsAsus has announced a number of its x58 motherboards motherboards that are all set to support Intel’s upcoming Gulftown processor expected to arrive in Q2 2010.


Eight different boards will all support the hexa-core CPU’s via bios updates that are currently available.


The launch of the Core-i9 series is eagerly anticipate by Asus and Intel,  “By enabling the architecture in our award-winning X58-based motherboards, we can deliver one of the fastest personal computing platforms in history and we are very excited about it.” says Chie-Wei Lin, General Manager of ASUS Motherboards.
