106a 300x255 ASRock Unveils Budget M3A785GM LE AM3 Mothervboard When it comes to building affordable, practical motherboards few can compare to ASRock and its offerings. Recently announced is the M3A785GM-LE bringing the newest AM3 offerings, right to your front door.

ASRock is a jack-of-all-trades company. Often combining the latest technology and integrated hardware in compact designs. Built to appeal to the vast majority of casual users and first time builders this newest AM3 board has all you could want and more.

Hidden behind small but functional aluminum heatsinks rests the AMD Chipsets. Featured for the Northbridge is the 785G which integrates an ATI HD 4200 on board graphics set with 128MB of sideport DDR3 Memory. Giving the end user options on installing their own video card or not. Should they Choose to install an ATI card they have the added novelty of Hybrid Crossfire mode. Using the integrated and expansion cards in sync to provide even more GPU power. Offset to the one PCI-E expansion point is the SB710 Southbridge, responsible for 6 SATA 3GB/s ports and the IDE control on the board.

Memory is confined to twin slots capable of supporting the latest DDR3 in dual channel mode. Although in theory this allows someone to use two 4GB modules to max out this boards support of 8GBs. A simple but functional 4 phase power delivery keeps the latest AM3 running, although overclocking would not be advised with this limitation. All in all it brings together a very rounded design that promises to be within the budget constraints of even the most modest user.

Pricing and availability have yet been released.
