Xigmatek has released two new CPU coolers onto the market today, both featuring similar H.D.T designs intended for cool and quiet performance.
The GAIA SD1283 is a 120mm cooler, with total dimensions of 120(W) x 50(D) x 159(H) mm and weighing a modest 460 grams. The unit features three 8mm copper heat pipes that dissipate heat through stack aluminum fins. The cooler includes a single 120mm fan with PWM support from 800-1500rpm and supports a dual fan mounting option with noise dampening rubber mounts. It will be compatible with all current Intel and AMD sockets using a backplate mounting system.
The little sibling to the GAIA, is the LOKI SD963, almost identical in design. With the smaller 92mm fan it measures only 92(W) x 50(D) x 134(H) mm at 330 grams. The copper heat pipes shrink to 3 6mm units, that again dissipate through aluminum fins. Again it includes a single PWM 92mm fan spinning at 1200-1800rpm with support for a second fan, and features rubber mounts. The Loki supports for all current Intel and AMD sockets.
Xigmatek has not yet released pricing for the coolers.
