Xigmatek Balder SD1283 01 252x300 Xigmatek Launches Balder SD1283 CPU Cooler

Xigmatek has been known to produce some widly popular CPU coolers, and is at it again with the Balder SD1283.

It maintains a very simliar design to their “Dark Knight” model and is an HDT cooler featuring three 8mm pipes that make direct contact with the CPU for optimal heat transfer. The fins are constructed of aluminum alloy, and the entire unit measures 120 (W) x 50 (D) x 159 (H) mm, slightly larger than the DK.

It also comes with a custom Xigmatek 120MM fan, the has variable speed control from 1,000 to 2,200RPM with a low noise output of a maximum of 28dba. There are also rubber vibration dampners for the fan.  The cooler supports all current sockets, including Intel’s LGA 1366, 1156 & 775 and AMD AM2+ and AM3
