Xigmatek has launched a new CPU Cooler, the Aegir (pronounced A-gear) SD128264, though we can’t quite figure out what the 6 digits signify.
The Aegir cooler implements a recently developed D.L.H.D.T. (Double Layer with Heat-pipe Direct Touch) structure. The new design utilizes two 8mm and two 6mm heat-pipes in a traditional H.D.T. form, and then adds two more 6mm heat-pipes on the second layer of the base. All of the heat-pipes dissipate the heat through aluminum fins.
Unit measurements are 120(W) x 120(H) x 25(D) mm, with a weight of 630 g. The cooler includes one white LED 120mm PWM fan with variable speeds from 1000 to 2200RPM at 20dba.
The Aegir SD128264 supports Intel LGA775/1156/1366 sockets and AMD AM2/AM2+/AM3 sockets with a spring-screw system and backplate.
