Just yesterday we heard the stirrings of a new lineup from Enermax. Today we get a new glance of what is to come as well as some interesting facts about these units.

Helping push their golden standards to new heights without sacrificing needed safety and performance, Enermax has been changing their focus when it comes to the internals. Instead of relying solely upon the DC conversion technology to boost efficiency they have opted to also employ new technologies to the AC front. This is what allows such stellar performance (90%+) for the PRO87+ and MODU87+.

The call it, Dynamic Hybrid Transformer Design or DHT For short.

Also melding technologies together is the cooling fan Enermax has chosen. The 139mm fan combines technology from their Twister series and Speedguard series to promise silent running operation even at a nominal 50 Degree operational temperature. From the looks of the fan blades themselves, we can almost say for certainty they will be more than adequate in moving large volumes of air inside.

Although Pricing has not yet been announced Enermax is hoping to bring these Power Supplies to a Retailer near you by the end of December – Early January.
