Thermaltake a long time industry leader in the Computer market announced their latest TR2 RX series PSU’s. The RX450w and 550W take centre stage in their lineup.
From their Purepower to their Toughpower products, Thermaltake has long since been a success story when providing the parts we need to power our machines. Based on solid OEM’s and backed by amazing warranties they provide tough competition in a market saturated with options.
The latest TR2 series brings a new chapter to past success and of course embraces the newest standards today. The RX 450w and 550W are made for the entry level user and long time user alike. Featuring a semi-modular interface they allow you to use only the critical connectors you require without the usual clutter. Something most of us today have come to appreciate in power supplies. Graphics connectors come in the form of 1 6pin PCI-e and another 6+2pin allowing even the most modern of cards to be connected. With a 4+4 EPS/ATX 12v provided as well, even older systems still using only 4-pin connection are not forgotten. Rounding out the design are 6 connectors for SATA devices, which is by no means top of the line but considering the output more than adequate.
Availability is not yet known but the MSRP on these should be $59.99 USD (450W) and $69.99 USD (550W) respectively.
