Graphics cooling has become essential to the modern PC user. Looking to keep the cool on the latest video cards; Thermaltake announces their new heavyweight ISGC V320 solution.
At first glance we see that Thermatake has included their ISGC fans in this new design. This is a promising step in quieter computing as this fan type is designed to operate silently without too much sacrifice in performance.
Responsible for moving the heat is 5 Copper heat pipes attached connect to a copper base and aluminum fin array. This is a typical arrangement in terms of aftermarket GPU cooling. What is different than most is the low density of the fin array which allows us to mount if we so choose ultra quite low RPM fans without worry. Although this arrangement might have some limitations as to the total cooling potential, it looks to be a good balance in noise vs. performance.
Compatibility is another concern when looking at aftermarket offerings. Luckily for us Thermaltake has that avenue covered quite well with a long list of both ATi and nVidia supported products. A complete list can be found on Thermaltake’s product page along with a complete breakdown of this coolers specifications.
Pricing and availability have yet to be announced at the time of this posting.
