The Armor A90 looks to continue a long tradition of enthusiast oriented cases provided by Thermaltake over the years. Packed with all the features gamers like to see this case should be an instant hit when it lands on retail shelves.
At a glance the Armor A90 has very striking and bold features and unlike previous generations it has done away with the ‘wings’ we have grown used to seeing. Case cooling is provided by a mix of different fan types, with a 120mm Blue LED up front, a 200mm on the top and Thermaltake’s own TurboFan for rear exhaust. As well the side panel has an additional port for another 120mm to be mounted.
The interior and exterior is finished in a matte black which gives uniformity to an already nice looking case. A standard cutout exists on the motherboard tray for the easy installation and removal of CPU cooling solutions without the need to remove the motherboard. This feature since first seen has started to dominate and become the norm in modern cases.
Another common feature now is the bottom mounted PSU , which will have no problem getting ample air as the case is raised from the ground and plenty of ventilation holes exist below. Full tool-free expansion bays are provided , with 3 5.25″ external and 6 3.5″ internal available.
Availability should come in the next few weeks with an estimated pricing of $100USD.
