Going on their success from the Strider Plus series, Silverstone announces a new succession of PSU’s for the everyday user. Enter the Strider Essentials.

The Strider Essential will be offered in two varieties once it hits e-tailers online. Their 400W version features a single 12V rail with active PFC and enough connectors to get you entry level system up and running. With 3 SATA, 4 Molex and a Single PCI-e 6-pin connector. The 500W version features the same for SATA and Molex but will come with 1 6-pin and 1 6+2 pin connector giving a little more flexibility for the end user.

Available now with a MSRP of $49.99USD (400W) and $59.99 (500W), Silverstone looks to fill and compete with other products in the entry level PSU market.
