First introduced to us when the Grand Kama Cross CPU cooler was announced we have thus far only seen the PWM versions of the Slip Stream. However as of now they will be available in standard case fan (3-pin/Molex) format for users around the globe.
With a smaller fan hub and larger sweeping blades the Slip Stream becomes more modernized and should allow for an increased volume in air with a minimal noise footprint. Something worthy of noting as well is the mounting setup. Instead of more typical 140mm mounting points, Scythe has chosen to use 120mm Points instead to increase the application range. Allowing those users with only 120mm ports on their cases to acquire and use the Slip Stream.
Available in 4 model types from 500RPM up to 1,700 RPM and priced at roughly $12USD look forward to seeing the Slip Stream on store shelves soon.
