The good folks at EXPReview have managed to get their paws on the second CPU cooling product from the rather unknown Prolimatech; the new cooler is strikingly similar to the Megahalems, and dubbed the Mega Shadow.
The Mega Shadow has the same design as the companies first cooler, however it has received a black finish, giving it a more aggressive look. Whether or not this actually effects heat dissipation or is purely aesthetic, remains to be seen. It uses the same twin tower and 6×2 heat pipe design which was proven to be incredibly effective in our review of the product.
The unit supports both LGA775 and 1366, along with included brackets for the upcoming LGA-1156, and consumers will yet again have to purchase a 120MM fan separately. The cooler was initially intended to hit shelves in late August, coinciding with the barrage of Core i5 releases, but reports indicate it may not be seen until September.
