Mushkinpsu 300x300 Mushkin Announces Their New PSU LineupMushkin a leading memory manufacturer has announced today its new entries into the PSU market. Enter the Mushkin Volta and Joule.

It seems more common lately that manufacturers are expanding their horizons from their more common Lineup. Offered to the masses in two formats, these PSU’s look to appeal to both the entry level computer builder and the professional/power user.

The Volta comes in two offered wattages, 500W and 600W. Being one of the more commonly purchased Ranges means this choice from Mushkin on the Volta is a sound one. Unknown however is if they will feature Single rail or Multi-Rail designs and if the interface is hardwired or Modular.

For the Enthusiast the Joule will be your answer with a 1.0kW and 1.2kW version offered. Giving even the most demanding systems out there plenty of power. As with the Volta the details are no known for Rail Configuration nor cable interface.

Both PSU’s come with an interesting feature as well, the 120mm cooling fan for these units comes with a Multi-LED switch at the back allowing the user to choose Blue/Green/Red or None for either unit. Although not a make or break feature for most users it is nice to see something like this available for those who must have everything with an LED.

Availability and Pricing were not known at the time of this posting.
