modu 82 plus 300x225 Enermax Refreshes Their Mainstream PSUsEnermax a leading manufacturer of Power Supplies and Cooling Fans has announced a refresh on their latest mainstream models.

Renamed as Modu82+ II , Pro82+ II and LibertyECO II  these new supplies are looking to stay current in a market that now has Direct X11 cards populating it.  With this in mind Enermax has changed all of its normal 6-pin PCI-e connectors for 6+2pin varieties instead. As well all PSU’s in the 400+ range with have at a minimum 2 PCI-e Connectors. This should bode well for those of us who require the power.

Also adopted from their Revolutions Lineup is Heatguard. A feature that keeps the cooling fan spinning for up to 60 seconds from shut down to provide additional longevity and cooling potential. Rounding out the package is longer EPS Connectors for those of us who use Bottom mounted Power Supplies. This should help keep an already good lineup from Enermax current for the near future.

Availability and Pricing have not been announced at the time of this posting.
