74a 300x165 Arctic Cooling Announces New XTREME Cooler for HD5970 and HD5870Arctic Cooling a leader in aftermarket cooling solutions has announced its latest GPU Cooler. Designed to fit the newest HD5970 and HD5870 this XTREME cooler has lots of Potential.

The Accelero XTREME comes equipped with 3 92mm PWM fans that are capable of running from 900 to 2000 RPM’s giving an effective airflow of 81 CFM. This should do very well in keeping the latest in ATI’s collection cool.

The only Major differences between the two models are the cooling interface and fin designs. The 5970 features 8 Heatpipes attached to 119 individual fins allowing for 300 watts of heat control. The more modest 5870 Accelero has 5 Heatpipes and 84 fins giving it an effective 250 watts of cooling ability. All this coupled with a 6 year limited warranty makes this a very attractive solution to those seeking aftermarket cooling.

Available in the comming months they will be priced at $67.95USD for the Accelero Xtreme 5870 and $76.95USD for the Xtreme 5970.
