Next month’s Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas won’t be the venue for the launch of the Samsung Galaxy 4.
CNET says Samsung won’t have any major mobile announcements at CES, but instead will likely launch the successor to their best selling smartphone at Mobile World Congress in February or at an event of its own sometime in the early new year.
The Galaxy S3 continues to sell well, as does Samsung’s recent refresh of the Galaxy Note, the Note 2, so launching a new smartphone at this time wouldn’t make much sense.
While informed sources that spoke to CNET maintain that no new mobile news will be announced at CES, something else may be in store judging by this trailer released on December 9.
