Thanks magic, it took some patience and an exacto blade but I got it off, I much prefer the GTZ "X" plate to the TT "H" plate, that "H" plate uses enough stickem to choke a horse! The GTZ is now in place and I even like the look better, the black face matches the viperjohn nb black block so I'm happy.

Now that I think I have everything mocked up the way I (think) I want it, it's time to swap the stock rad fans with 3 Noctua NF-P12's, should give it plenty of push. Then I'll properly mount the res and pump and get everything ready so when the 280's get here it'll be ready to go.

I still need 1 pair of 3/8" nozzle connectors or a single 3/8" barb, if anyone local (GTA, Durham) has a pair they want to sell please let me know (WTB thread in buy n sell). I went to home depot but all the have are the ugly brass barbs.

Ok so there's been a few changes from when I started

I finally had some time to get my beast built, was going nutz waiting on the cards and when they finally got here I was too busy to really get into things. But when I did?...lets just say I had ALOT of FUN building it

As you will see I passed on the TT wb and went with the GTZ combined with the ViperJohn nb wb and a MIPS MCH1037 sb wb (instead of the lil fan). Adding the 2 Nochua's to pull should help the rad, it's the only piece I'm not really happy with but I'll see how it works out.

It seems like such a waste not being able to see those shiny Koolance blocks so I may see what I can rig up to show them a little, I have a few ideas kickin around.

Filling the Res turned out to be a cakewalk and I had towels placed everywhere just to be on the safe side. I only had 1 small leak at the Res out, no problem, water tested for 3 hrs and all was good. I flushed the water waited a few hours and added the coolant and tested for 3 more hours.

I'm hoping to power everything else up and load up to test it out tomorrow, hopefully some benches.

A small word of warning (you may have already heard this) on the OCZ mem cooler... Do not under any circumstances decide to remove it while your board is powered up. Wayyy too much exposed metal there just waiting to short something out if it slips. :)

yeah, I am very aware of that, I'm always extra careful with it, if it didn't work I wouldn't use it but it does move some air...and adds a lil bling ;)

Haven't been around much lately and due to health reasons probably won't be around much in the near future so I figured I'd put up a couple of pics now that "My Pet Monster" is up and running and has found it's place. Just a mild OC to 3.6GHz, 1.3v with temps of 23c idle and 38-42c at load. Stock gpu(s) temps of 31c idle and 43-46c at load and P21144 in 3DVantage. I'm looking forward to really pushin' it when I get some time and see what it can really do.
