Well... Im actually from the us... I know its a Canadian site but you guys know your stuff. Anyways, It still may arrive today, i checked it agian and it seems it is supposed to delivered on time, we will see. Went with the backplate as i hate push pins... already installed my cpu and the heatsing on the motherboard. Went nice and smooth besides the stupid rubber fan connectors, but they do fit snug. |

Ah well, welcome to HWC :) I hate those push pins too, its not so bad on stock heatsinks, but with todays big n huge heatsinks they just seem.... flimsy.

Got my case and got it all hooked up! Very happy with how it turned out, i have yet to really push the hardware so im gonna go play some games and check the temps. Heres a few pictures. My wire routing... Case barely closed ![]() ![]() ![]() Case lights ![]() What yea think? I had a hell of a time trying to make the wiring look clean, its still kinda messy at the bottom but thats the best i think im gonna get it. Im very happy with the P5Q Pro, Posted first try and runs great. More then worth the lack of sli over the 7 series. Power supply is very nice, my only gripe is the stupid 4 pin cpu connector... should have been either on one of the modular plugs or left out. Glad i bought the extra extension for the 8 pin power plug tho... wire wasn't long enough to go under the motherboard otherwise. The 280 iv yet to really push... I dont have a hell of a lot of games that will even come close to pushing it as i always bough stuff that my 8600 gt could run. Gonna get World in conflict and a few other new games next week. Finally the case was great to work with, very well build and seems to have all i will need for a very long time to come. Last edited by dudy80; October 15, 2008 at 10:01 PM. |
