Yup.... as much as I love the pricing and stock that goes along with ordering on-line, I really wish NCIX had a storefront down the street from me so I wouldn't have to worry about shipping......

theres an NCIX burnaby... that'd be closer to east van. or you could move out near langely, and go ncix langely. Richmond is nice, but it is expensive.. our house is almost 900K and my dads revenue condo is 400k and thats a condo less than 1000 sq feet! jeez

Really they need to start expanding there retail nation wide .....FS and BB are old news so much overhead to carry so much crap...Canada needs a better brick and mortar computer shop...I know Moncton could have one to cover East Coast...London ONT would offer a cheap location that could cover central Canada. I don't know what retail real estate is like in Que but I am sure they could use some love......and Maybe one in Edmonton where real estate is less then Calgary and it would tailor more to suckers like me from the North when Edmonton is essentially our Travel and Freight Hub.

que is pretty cheap for land compared to the rest of this country. Ottawa can be pricey depending on the area. Right now though the average for a detached bungalow is between 290-400k depending on the area. condos are around 200k. Also i got a reply from ncix and they are going to contact UPS to give them a kick in the arse to get it rolling again. Maybe if we shove a BFG up UPS' arse they would be more. let say "Motivated" to do a better job :)

Well the UPS man didn't come back with my case so i am all feeling abandoned now as i have this computer but nothing to put it in. I think if isn't going to show until sometime next week i will buy the same case locally and sell off the new one. I know i will take a hit but i really want this. I am sick of my crappy gx260.

As promised here are some pics. And will you notice most are not blurry yaay :)

Computer in it's clothed glory

mmm Noctua should change their moto to Silence is Brown :)

OMG it's a .... DVD Burner ha ha, you thought it was blu-ray didn't you :)

A pair made in heaven, Anyone buying this HSF should get the boomerang.

Mmmm 45nm Hotness, drools :)

Yaay for odd memory sizes. Thats 6GB not 8 or 4.

Donor HDD, Still going strong

Nice red box, i guess E-VGA supports our troops :)

Foam Block, Ha Ha you bought a $600 piece of foam :)

+1 for hidden compartments

Top Down

Side View, but it doesn't really demonstrate just how thick this thing is.

here we go, a little blurry but you get the picture. The comparison card is a 3850 with a EK FC 3870 WB. Crazy.

I would have gone for 1KW but my apartment has fuses and i don't have spares.

Oooh Shiny Box

Gratuitous Accessories Shot

And finally the board. Yaay. :)

Anyway i am going to be holding off until i get my case. While tempting as it is i would had to blow something up even before i have the case to drool over.
