Default Kraken G10 + Antec Kuhler 620 on a GTX780?

Before I make any snap decisions, which I just may do anyways, I'm thinking about buying a Kraken G10 bracket to fit an Antec Kuhler 620 onto one of my GTX 780's.

I'm running a pair of EVGA GTX 780 superclocked cards (non-Ti) in SLI. The top card gets significantly warmer than the bottom card and a friend gave me the Antec Kuhler a while back when he upgraded, so I thought it might be a way to make use of it.

Thoughts?

I'd be looking at full cover water blocks personally. There is so much used water cooling stuff available in our buy/sell forum for half price you could water cool both cards easily.
Using the antec block wouldnt cool the vrm's or memory... That will have the reverse effect you are hoping for.

yeah, I've been searching a little on it. Looks like the plate on the VRM's can stay, and I've got lots of old pentium style heatsinks I could butcher if I had cutting disks for my dremel, but I'm not sure it's worth the effort either.

If you already have the cooler, then pick it up. Sure a custom cooling setup would be nice but getting G10 will more than do the job cooling at less than a tenth of the price of even a used water cooling setup.

I might try it just to try and see the results since it's only 40$ for the G10, but I'm not going to the store for that alone. I was hoping to get a corsair H100i for my 3930k as well but Canada Computers didn't actually have it in stock unless I want to drive across the city and go to the Orleans location.
