Ahhh and check this out i was browsing thru the web this guy has metal inlets on his swiftech apogee gt can i do that to mine does it make a difference to the plastic lookin ones i see most people have on theirs ?

It doesnt really make a difference, but Quadcore chips will benefit with the Vertical mounting because the way the Barbs line up, and the way the cores line up. Once again, we are talking about less than 1-2 degree differences here, not much at all.

well looks like im going to have to do a vertical mount considering my backplate and vortex yu see the swiftech with the metal barbs on it is tat better then the swiftech barbs or should i just use the swiftech barbs.

Yes you can mount the Metal barbs onto the Apogee GT. How many metal barbs did you order?

lol id have to order more i only ordered 1 set but does it make a difference i mean like is it a safer to use that then the swiftech ones i know i have to make another order with DC i forgot to get the fan grills

You may as well get an extra set of Metal barbs. It will make installing and removing the tubing easier. I cut my hands up good when I broke one of the plastic ones sunday. I now despise the plastic ones, other than the fact that they are free hehehe. The metal ones are also easier to tighten and remove, as they dont sqeeze and stretch like the plastic ones.
And yes, the ones you already ordered are for the RAD

wats the size i should get the same one as the rad ones Swiftech 1/2IN Od Chrome Plated Fittings 1/4 Bspp (Set of Two).


The picture one with the metal barbs looks a bit bigger right/?

Yes, those swiftech ones are perfect. The ones in that picture are the Bitspower barbs I think they are more expensive and harder to get. Just stick with the swiftech, they work great.
