Default Purple Tubing - 7/16ID 5/8OD

Seems like a long shot, but I'm looking to switch up my white tubing for purple tubing for my next rig update. I'm using 7/16ID 5/8OD tubing right now and do not want to switch since the last bunch of compression fittings I bought cost me an arm and a leg.

The question is: Does anybody tubing like that in Canada? The only places I can seem to find it easily are in the states and basically double the item cost for shipping, not to mention possible import fees/taxes. (Aquatuning.us, PerPCs, etc)

Are your barbs 7/16" or are they 1/2"? You'll probably have a much easier time finding 1/2" tubing and I was under the impression that 7/16" tubing was being used on 1/2" fittings for a tighter fit.

edit: NVM... I see half" tubing is typically 3/4 OD as opposed to 5/8"

Daz has some but not in purple... did you drop him a line to see if he can get any?

They are actually 7/16 5/8 compressions. Odd size, I know, but it was my decided compromise coming from the gargantuan 1/2 3/4 stuff I was using before.

I have not asked Daz, figured I'd bother him on Monday instead of on the weekend.

If you order 4 feet or less from FrozenCPU you can get it shipped via USPS for $7.99 USD, and I'm 87.34534% sure you won't get dinged for taxes/duties. That's probably your best bet to avoid egregious shipping charges unless Daz can help you.

Any more and you'll have to pay more than double in shipping from them. I avoid PPC most of the time because of their distance and higher shipping costs to Canuckistan.

That box of goodies coming from Ontario to Calgary has a plethora of compression fittings. 1/2"ID - 3/4"OD is the size.

I found some compromise/potential awesomeness when browsing through Daz's clearance stuff. Should cover both of my desired colours.
