seems rotor is rubbing cavity

I have always used a vario D5 and I do find it to be a bit noisy at 4-5 setting, but it should not be to the point where you can't stand it since you also have a bunch of fans running on your rads too

How is it mounted? Is it touching the case? If so, try a dampener such as a sponge or something.
