Default Pump outlet/drain question

Probably an easy or silly question, but here goes..
I've got a d5 vario with a ek top in the build I am slowly doing and am looking to install a drain
My question is, if the pump top has 2 outlets, can I use one of them to exit to a drain plug? And the other to continue the loop obviously
I can't see why not, but thought I should ask just in case
Thanks

Yes you can. I'd suggest using a ball valve fitting.

Thanks! Figured it wouldn't be an issue, I'll hopefully update my build photos today to show where input it
