Default leak somewhere?

I've had my rig under water for more than a year now. i recently had to RMA my mobo and decided to do some change in the layout and upgrade some parts. My old setup used XSPC cpu block, chromed copper pipes, EK universal GPU block, 1 x 360 rad and 1 x 240 rad. I recently added koolance full WC block for my 7970 and also the new XSPC tube res.

I think my loop is leaking somewhere as i loose around 1-2 mm of coolant in the res every 2 days. the system would start off quiet but after 15 mins i could hear cavitation going in the pump. I've scrutinized all connections and would swear that i dont see any leaks. i've leaked tested it for 24hrs and have the system running for 5 days now.

my pump is on the floor of the case with the res directly above it and is near the top of the case; i should have enough head and also any air pocket should work it's way up to the res.

any thoughts on this?

Where is the radiator in reference to all this?

A picture would be best.

Sounds like it isn't fully bled. There isrobably a pocket of air somewhere in one of the blocks or radiator.

pardon the tubing as i'm going to add another gpu and revising copper tubes is a PITA.

as you could see where i have the tape on the res; that is how much water drop i got from yesterday.

hmm.. i've pretty much turned and tilted the rig everywhich way. if air is trapped in the top rad wouldnt it bleed to the res?
my flow is 240 rad -> GPU-> top 360 rad ->cpu block -> res ->pump

i'm getting cavitation in the pump after 15 mins which boggles me since it's already low and air should be trapped in the res.. am i correct in my reasoning?

try laying MB with solder side down and chips up

and have rez verticle to bleed for 20 mins

if pump noise comes let us know

can you take a closer shot of pump top

if you are getting cavitation it's just air in the loop man... it can take a while to get it all out sometimes. I would tap the radiator to dislodge the air and if you have a variable speed pump you can screw around with the speed to force the air out too. Try and get the invert of the top rad lower than the fittings on the back of the rad too. I normally use a couple thick books or something. 2x4.
