Default Best 140mm fan for Radiators

Anyone out there know? A list of top contenders maybe?

I got Bitfenix Spectre Pros on my 280mm rad currently. Is there anything out there worth replacing them with?

Medium speed Yate Loons are my choice for 140mm fans. They are quite a bit better than Bitfenix fans. The YLs have the best noise profile of any 140mm fan I have personally used.

Thanks for the suggestion. I'll have to check them out when I do my next tear down.

I used Akasa Vipers with low fpi rads in my last build and they were amazing. Ran at half speed (800rpm) and damn near silent.

I use the Swiftech Helix fans which are based on the Scythe Gentle Typhoon Swiftech - Accessories Also the Corsair AF range. Any of these fans would be better than your current choice.

I did not like the 140mm Helix'. They have very poor static pressure compared to the 120mm version. Plus they have a high pitched whine. I threw both of mine on the shelf after 5 minutes of testing.

I'm also currently using the Akasa Vipers. I've also used the older Noctua NF-P14. Both are good but I like the vipers more because I like to use PWM to control the speed of my fans.

There is also Cougar Vortex HDB fans(they have PWM and other types as well) I have 2 of the 120mm and I love em, easily match the pressure/performance of my older scythe fans/CM R4 even behind tight mesh, the 140s are even better, and their noise profile is excellent.

The newest noctuas are apparently amazing but as always $ and the color is just yuck IMHO.

Noctua NF-A14 FLX, but it's ugly as hell

In case anyone cares, I went with Cougar Turbines. They're cheaper, quieter, and better performing than the spectre pros I was using. I also got a thinner 280mm rad and went for push/pull so performance increase might be skewed slightly. But at their price definitely worth trying.
