Default GPU Cooling? using same side

Just getting ready to redo my build into a midtower case, I'm used to using full tower.

I've always ran my GPU using opposite corner input/outputs Like upper left and lower right.

Question is would it pose problems to use say Upper Left input and Upper Right output leaving the two lower ones plugged?

Pretty sure that will just pass fluid right through from one port to the next without passing through the GPU block.

For most GPU blocks, as long as you use one left and one right fluid will still flow through the block.

Ya, I didn't think he'd be trying to cram Crossfired watercooled 6950's into a mid tower.
