Default XSPC Rasa 750 RS360 kit temps?

I have a XSPC Rasa 750 RS360 on a i5 4670k and my room temp is around 25c but my idle temps is sky high at 46 c! Is this normal?

I have made the line method of thermalpaste and have screw the screws finger tight. What could be causing this?

What SHOULD the normal temps at desktop be with a i5 4670k?

*EDIT*

Here are a few pics of HOW I got the RS360 rad in the top of the HAF XM.

AS you can see then I had to cut around 2 cm of the metal of the case to make it fit, not much. AND a piece of the front plastic - but none of the cuts are visible at all when mounted.

Very easy to do. I could fit the radiator inside the case but due to the motherboard top power pin then I could not fit the left fan in, so I had to leave the rad on top and the fans in only a push....

Seems awfully high. Either a bad mount or bad thermal paste application. Take it off, try the "pea" method in the middle and remount.

Silly question, but it happens from time to time..... you didn't leave the protective plastic on the cooling block by any chance?

Good to hear you found the problem. You aren't the first one to forget to take it off, and I'm sure you won't be the last. :)

Also I would like to add that I have the XSPC Rasa 750 RS360 mounted in a HAF XM - the HAF XM does not support native a 360 rad but with a bit of modding then it fits perfectly. I will upload some pics later of my build.

I forgot the plastic like a nab.... but I must admit that 2 months ago I had never mounted a PC in my life - nor was I very PC literate (I did not know how to install windows..) - and even so thanks to forums then I have made a beast of a machine.

I went for the XSPC Rasa 750 RS360 kit as I wanted some watercooling - even though air is much easier and cooling is more or less - and the h100i was easiest but I wanted to go for future upgrades. Pretty hardcore to go from nothing to mounting *custom* wastercooling - I am happy though that I found the problem!

Sry, did not see your post -

I have my i5 4670k Overclocked to 4.4 ghz at 1.250 volts

*edit* I ran PRIME95 for 30 min

Ambient temps:

22.7 C

Idle average temps:

25.75 C

Load Average temps:

60.25 C

Delta temp: 37.55 C

I dont know how good these temps are and what I should expect - for now then I am happy.

I have soon comming a EX240 rad and another RS120 rad comming - hope that will bring down the temps - asking YOU more experienced watercoolers, what could I expect to be the temp difference with the 2 new rads that i have comming??
