Closed loop or not, vertical head pressure is always present. The Pump must still over come any pressure created by gravity in order for your loop to flow. Because gravity acts on both sides of the loop closed or not.
Granted that 6' is more than enough for most systems. And yes the further you pump the fluid the more frictional head you'll need over come.

again... head pressure is completely irrelevant and not worth thinking about in computer water cooling. The calculation on head pressure loss in a closed loop would be calculated in grams or oz at best. You might lose one inch out of 19 feet. The only thing anyone really needs to worry about is GPM or LPH. Surprisingly, slowing a pump down instead of speeding it up will improve cooling and I challenge you to try it out. Maxing out a pump will in fact have a negative affect on temperatures and could melt the impellor by boiling water on the low pressure side.

gee i mentioned HeadPressor as a gauge to his loop, that it will do the task

now if pump was rated @ 1 Ft and 3 rads is a different story

so it matters

you are getting head pressure confused with flow rate man...

Realistically 2.2 is the best fro CPU loop, but you still can use it for your set up. You probably loose some degrees due to lower flow levels as result of added restriction.

Here she is :) I eventually want to add a second GPU... I know than I'll probably be pushing the pump to its limits

could I just add a second dcp 2.2 pump to the loop? or is that not good idea??

Id say check if temps are ok before spending on second pump.

my 7950 is overclocked to 1150mhz and under full load, highest it's hit is 48 degrees (I monitor it on my tablet while playing via MSI Burner) so GPU Temps are very good.
