resevour+pump advice

Im going to be redoing my loop since its time for a cleaning. Ive noticed a residue buildup at the top of my res and its not in the water but want to clean it out before it does any damage.i am not sure if anyone has used Ice dragon nano fluid. I dont have intentions of using Distilled water with additives and cleaning out ever 4-6 mo.

im wondering it is going to strain my current pump

XSPC X2O 750 Dual 5.25 Bay Reservoir Pump - Updated Version - FrozenCPU.com

Ive had the pump for a while no problems and im currently using koolance UV red. and thats pretty much like water in terms of viscosity.

Im cooling my i7 2600k @4.5 Ghz and a GTX 590 classified hydro copper

any tips and advice will be appreciated thanks :thumb:

Ice Dragon is a great product. I can't say for sure that it really improves temps, but it looks super.
Your pump will do just fine with it.

Just be sure to do lots of cleaning of your rads and blocks...
IDK about Koolance Red liquids, but I had a little issue with staining.
here's what happened to me after using IDC for about a week.

most likely from red TFC tubing used in prior build.
wierd that the IDC is still perfect, just the clear tubes are stained.
still love this stuff, spendy, but cool.

Ok thanks alot for cooling my nerves. the pump i have isnt cream of the crop but has been steady since day 1. ill put the syringe on my list of things to get then.

It is just the tubing that is changing colour correct? That Bitspower block still looks perfectly white to me.

Ya Lowfat. only the tube... the IDC got recycled, looked just like it did the day I bought it...
