My System Specs

Default My first attempt at watercooling

Had a small leak under the reservoir since I had it at a weird angle. Thought it would be an issue but risked it and ended up wasting more time later reassembling it. Best part is after all that I had an error code that was related to cpu issues apparently. Took me 2 hours to figure it out and turns out it was simply having a card reader on, removed it, booted up fine :x

Temps now go to around 40c while gaming whereas on air it would go 60-70c. Going to try and see exactly how hot it goes later using furmark.

No more leaks after nearly 2 days on, that is good. Was going to do CPU watercooling and add more fittings to make it look amazing, but my income tax return was a mere $30 so I have to hold off for now unfortunately. All that is left here is to cleanup all the wires and someday actually get around to sleeving everything.

did you clean the parts out espically the rad before you installed?

get some anti kink coil if your having trouble with kinks

looks good though youll never want to go back to air cooled gpu again.

I had bought it used from another member but did so the previous night, literally nothing showed up after rinse.

No more problem with kinks (at least I don't think there is), I will post a newer pic up in a bit. The problem with that was earlier I was just trying to have the top tube over the other one but there just wasn't enough slack I guess.

Now all I really need to do with my system is sleeve the damn thing (have had mdpc just lying here for months) and also figure out which CPU block I want to get.

Edit : More pics, seems to be a slight kink but not as bad as before :p

Need to sleeve the cables wrapping the reservoir so it looks decent now.

that kink will get worse when it warms up. Especially in the summer time when everything is warmer otherwise its a decent WC setup.

CPU temps still lower than GPU so not bothering until later. I have a build log of my system but have been busy for so long now I haven't had much time to do anything with it.

Carnage - TJ11 Project

Basically I am now saving up for the final touches on the machine. I was hoping to use my income tax return on it but I only got a mere $30 this year so finally just went ahead and did my GPU (had all the parts minus 2 fittings for a while but was waiting for more money for the rest of the stuff). Once I save up another $400 or so planning on getting new rads, fittings and a cpu block.
