Default Buying Raystorm D5 Kit help

Im planning to get the XSPC Raystorm D5 Kit, and as you may know it comes with the fittings and tubing sized 3/8 ID and 5/8 OD.

now my question is, if I decided to go with different size fittings and tubing lets say (ex. 3/8 ID and 1/2 OD) would this work? and have no issues with fitting them in the RAD, CPU Blocks and GPU Blocks? or am I missing something.

thanks

Nope you should have no problems at all, the XSPC kit should be G1/4 on all the blocks and rads....

Just keep in mind that upgrading fittings for a whole loop can be quite pricey, so if it's something you plan to do immediately you might want to look at a different kit which has the fitting size you want.

Im really thinking about it, but Im not planning to get expensive fittings probably one of those ~$5 fittings.

the thing is (please don't laugh ) I really want the the white tubing and white/light blue UV tubing and for the love of god I cant find it on 3/8ID and 3/5ID, and I cant find XSPC fittings with 45 or 90 degrees fittings.

Yes indeed buddy.

I have asked him already, and pointed me towards the one available already, only white tube.

If you use 3/8 ID barb fittings you can change between any 3/8 ID tubing later. So like 3/8ID 5/8OD and 1/2OD will all work on the same barb style fittings. You only need to worry about the outside diameter if you use compression fittings.

People sell fittings for good prices on the buy/sell forum all the time too... sometimes you can get good deals there.

thanks for your input guys, I missed some deals on BST.

But anyway, I gotta decide by next week because by the beginning of next month I have plenty of time to start my build, so I hope I can gather all the parts by that time.
