I just picked up a chunk of 3/8 tubing, cut enough to cover the barbs..added some super glue ( for rubber, plastic ) on top of the tubing then put the 1/2" on top of it with a clamp...it will work.

Yup gear clamps are the best. The glue is not touching any fluid. It's a water tight adhesive superglue that will bond the 3/8 to the 1/2" and the clamp will be tightened after the glue area to crimp the tubes for a tight fit and to prevent less water resistance ( which I think is completely overrated concerns for water cooling as is the choice of which way the loop should run - personally, less length, less adapters = less mess )

Not sure about you, but I sure wouldn't want to risk all that hardware to superglue. Honestly I would just not use the block, it won't help the overclocks or anything like that.

I don't know why you wouldn't just buy a couple 3/8 fitting from Daz and use them to run a tube to and from the VRM heatsink.
I wouldn't be using any super glued in one of my systems. I wouldn't sleep at night.

It's not glued to the barb. The 3/8 tubing is placed on the bard, then a little super glue for rubber is applied on top, then the 1/2 on top ( very tight fit ) then clamp. There's no way it will leak but I will test it. I did this before with my previous Asus mb and never had an issue. The trick is to use good clamps ( not those cheap plastic clamps ) and clamp near the end of the barb.

It will be fine
