NZXT Kraken X40 & X60 Review Comment Thread NZXT's Kraken X40 and X60 all in one water coolers are meant to go head to head against some of the best offered by Corsair, Thermaltake and Cooler Master. In order to accomplish this, NZXT has avoided using typical 120mm and 240mm form factors and instead upsized their new X40 and X60 to 140mm and 280mm respectively. Good Job NZXT, since 140 is slowly becomming the new 120...we need AIO's like this. And, naturally the Colossus will be graced with one soon enough :) -ST |
Nice review, what I would like to see is for Noctua to get in the aio game. :thumb: |
Hard to look past corsairs extra 3 years of warranty though. |
Good review. I can see a problem with people accidentally kinking the 3/8 od tube. Seems too small a diameter to make it strong. Will need to be handled with care during an install. |
I had (have) an ASETEK AIO. That AMD mounting system is indeed a HUGE pain in the ass. Plus, the little 'nuts' in the backplate start to spin in the plastic after a while, making the cooler very difficult to take off/put on after a while. The Corsair mounting system is far superior, IMO. If the results of the H90 & H110 review are comparable to the Krakens, I'll be recommending the Corsairs, simply because of the mounting system. |

What about the H110? It is Asetek. Same goes for the H90... :bleh: Corsair Hydro Series H110 - Asetek, Inc. |
