but since the fan is spinning at such a low speed, would it be enough static pressure to get thru the rad?

those factory corsair 200mm fans are awful.... no real air flow to speak of..... thats why I put 2 120mm fans in the front of mine and 2 120's up top (with a rad of course)

The stock fans are only 20mm thick and have a tiny motor. These make the fan have very poor static pressure which is is rather important to a radiator. I would suggest moving to a thicker fan. IIRC you can use 180mm Silverstone fans w/ the 200mm Phobya. However I am not sure how you would go about mounting it to the case.

It's an xspc rad ( normal thickness) and my mobo doesn't have a vrm heat sink along the top so I mounted it inside the case and put the fans in the top of the case pulling air through. However I also cut out the mesh in top and just left the fan mount holes so that thenair flow wouldn't be disrupted. I would post pics but in just on my iPad ATM

Just an FYI. Phobya announced an all copper version of their 200mm radiators today. No idea when it will be in stock in retailers though.

Oh so the 240 is on top ? I thought in the front lol i'll have to buy a 140 single rad or buy a nice new slim 240 rad and cut a small opening in the 5.25 and run the tubing in there cause when i get the 6990 inthere i will be needing lost of cooling help, also looking at those cougar fans

Since they might be releasing a 200 copper i might wait also and run the 6990 aircooled for the moment

no, i've bought 6 cougar fans, so i will be putting a 240 rad and modding the 5.25 so i can pass my tubing from the inside the 5.25 bay

since i cant find a good 200mm fan to push that's why i went with cougar fans silent and effective !
