Replacement fans for a Corsair H100

The stock fans work quite well on the H100, except in the noise department. Playing Battlefield 3 makes these fans sound like I'm running a sever, so I've been looking to replace them and I've heard good things from the likes of Sliverstone's Air Penetrator series, Scythe's Gentle Typhoon series, and Noctua's NF-P series but I wanted to get a second opinion before I buy. So what fan would be the best replacement for the stock fans that come with the H100 based on cooling performance with less noise then stock H100 fans. As for aesthetics as long as the fan colour isn't puke green I don't really care. Performance and quietness are all I really care for, I really can't see the fans because of where my case is anyway.

I know the nf p12s are really good for rads for their static pressure, and also the gentle typhoons! Always see these fans on people's rads

if you're going for nf-p, you might as well look into the nf-f

Cant go wrong with the Scythe GTs. They are louder than the NF-Ps (which are also good for a 1500rpm fan) but can be undervolted easily. Really will come down to price, what temps you want and what noise level you can live with....and either kick major ass. :)

What is your budget like? I would highly suggest the Noiseblocker eLoops. But they are pricey. The PWM versions will be around $25 each. I definitely prefer them to GTs.

Around $25-$30 per fan is my limit. For what you get with the NB's the extra 5 dollars seems fair (the shipping costs, not so much) but this one time I think I'll "bite the bullet" sorta speak.

Which PWM range is best for the H100 rad.? I currently have my i7 920 at 4.01 ghz with temps in the high 70's to low 80's when @ 100 load. I Almost never have the cpu @ 100% load however since I do not do "folding" or extreme number crunching. The only time I had the cpu at 100% load was when I was performing stability testing for my OC. The max average load for my system is around 78-80% with temps in the mid to high 70's. My max temp I would want to see with these fans would be around 85c (maybe 90c but that's really pushing it if you ask me).

gentle typhoons are always nice (and expensive), spectre pros are good as well and easy to find, NZXT fans give very good performance but are a little louder than I'd like (bought a few -_-)

Ok....so just to be clear your budget is 50 bucks for TWO fans or is it 100 bucks for FOUR fans? If its the latter....why bother? Get the H100i and the excellent SP120L fans it comes with, the integrated Corsair Link 2 program AND better temperatures without messing with new fans.
If the SP120Ls are too loud....fire up ye olde CL2 and tweak the speed profile. ;)

Ya around 50 for 2 fans. As for the H100i suggestion, I already have the H100 hooked up to Corsair Link 2 and have custom speed profiles for the 2 stock fans so they are quiet when not gaming or encoding but as soon as BF3 or Black Ops 2 starts up, so does the fan noise by a fair margin and thats what I want replacement fans for, to have a quieter system regardless of what I'm doing on it.
