Ok maybe last update. Maybe. Turns out the card got worse and had to take it back to the store. Got the card exchanged for the MSI stock 7970. Attached the block no problem. This time changed the loop so the video card can be removed using some quick disconnect fittings. Only had the male and female ends so I had to get creative. So far no leaks detected and it worked great through a round of WoT. It may be too early for problems to crop up but I am a bit optimistic. Little bit sad the accessories with the MSI card did not include a mini dp to dvi adapter.

Ok well here it is. The money pit as I will probably call it.


And here's gpu temps seconds after Unigine Heaven benchmark.


Haven't overclocked it yet. That will come later.

Orange. The plan was to eventually build a PC that resembles the Aperture Science tower PCs from Portal 1. Figured the tubes should be orange as well.

But that will have to wait. Unlike some of my earlier mod projects this one will be planned better.
