I take those reviews with a grain of salt.

And, I will take Corsairs CS over all others any day of the week.

But again, you're splitting hairs here.

Sorry for reviving an old post.

I just had my ECO fail last night, same issue leaked out of the pump unit. Pulled it out of my system and tried to dry everything off, but it's fried my GPU....

I just sent Coolit an email but I doubt I'll get anywhere. The units like 2.5 yrs old.

Looking for any tips/advise/suggestions to get the most out of Coolit?

It shouldn't matter how the rad is mounted as it says no where in Coolit included instructions which way to mount the rad. It was an omission on the part of Coolit. If its not in the instructions than how is the end user supposed to know which way to mount it? Theres no arrows on the unit or any guides whatsoever. Announcements afterwards are irrelevant. Coolit is responsible for incorrectly installed rads in my opinion as they did not properly give the user proper installation instructions initially or afterwards in the box. I don't see how coolit has a leg to stand on here.

Sorry to hear about your unit, it sounds like these things just self destruct after 2.5 years. Like me they will just say it is out of warranty. They said that if mine was had been mounted correctly (according to them at least) they would have given me a discount towards a new cooler but that is all.
