CHIVE NB water block

I have never had great temps on my Crosshair IV Extreme NB chip but it was still with in spec , but in the last couple of months it is getting retarded and I need to put it under water and seeing as the full cover blocks are none existent I need to find another way to calm this chip down .

I have reseated the chip with new thermal paste while the OE paste looked ok it had little effect after I reseated it .
I thought about just getting the CHV board but my next build probably wont be for awhile and may not even be a AMD if they keep on this path.

If any of you guys have any ideas of which is the most economical way to do this I would appreciate any input on it ..I have some ideas on how I want to go with this but would like some other thoughts .
