Odd pump mounting method, yay or nay?

Was thinking about suspension mounting a pump under a cylinder res. I would use barbs with good clamps, and the reservoir would be hard mounted just the pump would be hanging from the small peice of tubing connecting it to the reservoir. Was thinking this might work if you don't move your pc around a lot and the pump having a weight of 1/2 a pound. Lol.

Considering the fact that the pump is constantly moving and if left hanging on it's own would be applying a small amount of torque at the connection point, I wouldn't personally risk it myself. The last thing you want in a water loop is something that you have to monitor 24/7.

I will admit though that it's a unique way of isolating pump noise if it worked safely.
