Any clear tubing that doesn't cloud? My watts tubing from Home Depot is clouding like mad, does anyone know any clear tubing that doesn't cloud? Thanks |
At this point I don't think any exists. Primoflex LRT use to be good stuff that took a long while to cloud up. However new batches cloud very fast. Clearflex, Primoflex LRT, Tygon R3603, Tygon B-44-4X all clouded from my experience. I have some Tygon B-44-3 that I am trying now, but I won't have results for a while. |
not 100% clear as i hear so far... most clear tube will cloud at minor to major... depend on brand... thats why we use color tube... edit: okay lowfat beats me |
hmm... I would've thought clouding tubing issue would've been resolved considering that watercooling has been around for a decade, vinyl tubing even longer. If you needed to buy new tubing right now, what would you guys go for? Preferably thin walled, but thick walls are okay too. |
I just go to the local hardware store and buy tygon hose, I swap it out yearly and dosen't get to cloudy in a years time... the vinyl fogged up in under 3 months in my loop with silver kill coil and distilled. |
what model of tygon do you buy? (little conflict what lowfat said) |

I'd would like to reccomend Primoflex LRT. However, there are terrible batches of this product in circulation. It's nothing like the amazing tubing Primochill is known for. I don't know if they've gone downhill or it's a temporary thing, but it's playing Russian roulette if you purchase it. |
My Home-Depo vinyl hose is not clouding, might be my choice of coolant, Feser1. |
