Not fire but they could explode if they're liquid caps. Solid caps it'll probably just blow a fuse or brick the board when u turn it on.

Good luck man, this is the most tech of all tech problems; soldering something to you board.

If your not down for doing it yourself take it to a electronics store that sells the capacitors in your area and I am sure someone there would be willing to help you out too.

That is a bad situation I hope you get it working with out much trouble.

He has 4 capacitors damaged if you look closer you will see the other two one on each side that have nicks in them, so better make sure to replace them. I would just RMA the board if it still has warranty.

I personally think that you should not RMA the board, I think it will be a complete waste of time as the manufacturer will see the "physical" damage and deny under warranty, they may replace while charging you a shit ton in warranty and labour...IMHO.

i'm just gonna rotate the H100 upon reinstall and run it.

i will shut it down when not in use.

i have three fire extinguishers within reach in the command centre just in case.

You cannot RMA something YOU physically damaged. People wonder why companies are getting strict with RMA's and this is why. If you broke it suck it up. If it fails while in proper use then RMA it.
