Default internal Reservoir or external Reservoir

Hello,
I am trying to work out if I should go for an internal Reservoir or external Reservoir for water cooled gtx 570 in SLI (two cards). Some of the other specs are, intel sandybrigh i7 2600 quad core 1155, and may be water cooled corsair ram in a coolermaster haf x case. There will be a triple radiator at the top and a dual radiater at the botton with 120mm fans. And do you have any suggestion for a pump.

Would putting the reservoir outside the case cause any issues?
Any thoughts would be appreaciated as I am just starting out to build my first gaming pc.

Thanks

Just mount it on the top of the pump(res top) inside your case.

I've done quite a few WC builds and just recently did my first build with an integrated pump/res 5 1/4 bay unit (like this..... XSPC Dual 5.25 Reservoir for One Laing DDC's Single Loop XSPC Dual 5.25 Reservoir for One Laing DDC's Singlel Loop [XSPC-DBSL-1DCC] - $58.99 : DazMode, The Best Canadian PC Watercooling and Modding Store! or this Primochill Myriad D5 Clear Dual INLET/OUTLET 2x 5.25IN Bay Reservoir & MCP655 Pump Top -NO PUMP- - Primochill - RES-MDD5 ) I'll never go back and do a build without using one. It was that much easier and came out much more professional.

It would depend on the loop. If you chose the type of internal bay res I linked to, they're designed for specific pumps so you'd buy that style.

You could use the two together, but it's a standalone res, and I'm not a big fan of pumps without the ability to chose barb size (the one you chose has 3/8" barbs).

From that website, here's the link to the pump "mountable" res choices......

I would spring for the vario d5 pump. There are tons of people making dual bay with one or 2 d5 pumps with what amounts to a custom top (it adapts to any tube size via fittings). The vario d5 is pretty quiet, has a higher flow rate but much less pressure than the ddc.
