Ok I watched all of the dazmode videos last night. I'm starting to feel that a custom DazMode Raystorm kit is perfect for my needs.

One question that I thought of last night though...

Coloured tubing or coloured liquid? Which do you prefer and why?

Clear tubing, premixed liquid. If you go through my old build log, you'll see the red tubing I started with, then the clear tubing with Feser UV Red coolant. It looks so much better, IMHO. And with all the colors available now (Mayhem's anyone?) you can change your loop color easily with a good distilled flush in between.

Thanks SugarJ! Yes the coloured fluid does look much better.

Is there a particular brand that is a favourite to many? I want blue.

The Fesser 1 Blue looks pretty nice. I was using the Fesser red before I switched to Ice Dragon

For looks I prefer a cylindrical res but it does take space in a case. When space is tight I go with a bay res. Easy to bleed/fill and doesn't take space in the case....but I don't feel like it looks as good as the cylindrical ones

Hello, maybe research colored fluid a little more... I have done a lot of research and there's mixed results about it with the possibility of staining your components and leaving residue in your blocks causing blockage... I'm working on a concept right now go to the watercooling section on this forum and click on the Haf x concept loop thread, it's one I made a couple days ago see if you can take any ideas from that!

Cheers,
Chomie
