Custom reservoirs
Hello fellow Canucks.

This is my attempt to create a unique reservoir. Some of you may have already seen this, but to those of you who have not. Enjoy.

This was the first finished prototype.

Nothing special at all. Acrylic measures 74mm and the top cap measures 40mm and bottom 51mm. Total length is 165mm. 1 inlet, 1 outlet, and one fill point.

Now their were other prototype caps, but were complete failures IMHO and were discarded immediately.

Now these are two finished, final versions of my design. They are flawless, but are covered in finger prints. :p

Dimensions and features are identical to the prototype. These however have a much better fit/finish.

This is them in my current build.

What do you guys think?

setup looks great.any work done on the anticyclone piece?

Kylek57 March 10, 2012 07:32 PM

Thanks JTF2.

Making a prototype tomorrow. Will look something like this...

It was a bit of a pain to bleed without the anti-cyclone, but I managed.

Damn, thats a gorgeous build!

What case is that??

sswilson March 11, 2012 05:48 AM

I have to say that I'm quite envious of you folks who can manufacture parts like this, I'm more of a red green kinda guy.... ;)

Looks great, please keep us posted on any new parts. This is the kind of stuff that gets everybody's gray matter flowing when they're trying to think of ideas for a new build.

i think it is a mm pinnacle 24?

Kylek57 March 11, 2012 07:49 AM

Yep, it is a MM pinnacle 24. I'm not the biggest fan of the case, but it gets the job done well enough.

I appreciate it. Oh and their will be more coming. Lots more...
