WB 5970 + 5870

Will a 5970 and a 5870 EK Waterblock both alligne properly or just a bit offset ?

Based on these two pictures, I'd say no, they won't align (sorry for the large pictures. I'm not sure how to resize here ):

On the other hand, what you could do is get some angled adapters facing away/up from each card and running regular tubing to each of the cards' inlets. It wouldn't look as good, obviously, but it would work.

Thanks Hacksaw, I've email EK and they said with my spacing on my motherboard and the offset of both card blocks would be too much even with adaptors... so i get the 5970 will be Watercooled and the 5870 will stay Aircooled... its not like its overheating but oh well ..

I used to have this setup, 5970+5870. Great setup. Had the Arctic Xtreme cooler for the 5970 tho.

If you have enough space to skip a pci slot or two couldn't you use tubing /w straight fittings instead of adapter?

Couldn't you just loop tubing over the card with the inlets facing opposite directions?

Edit: What's with the thread revivals :|?

after i saw a video, i think its possible if i use the first 1 inlet to transfer and use the outers for in / out
