Best 480 Rad
 

Hey HWC,

been lurking the forums here for around a year now, anyways, im planning on getting into watercooling, and im planning on using a 480 rad. Im wondering what's people's opinions on which 480 rad i should take!

Depends if fan noise is an issue to you? If you like lower speed fans, I prefer the Hardware Labs Black Ice SR-1 480. Its a great rad, with low FPI and an excellent build quality. I have three in my case combined with four NoiseBlocker PL-2's on each one, and they are just beautiful.

I guess those thicker XSPC rads are pretty good too, but the quality of the SR-1 is what wins my vote :thumb:

Yea, I plan to be using noctua fans so the rad you recommended would be perfect for me. I was looking for a low fpi rad too.
