water cooling check list
 

okay soo i am thinking of getting into water cooling but i would like to buy bit and parts at a time, does anyone have a check list of what all i will need to point me to a site that might have a check list so i know i have gotten everything

Water Blocks (CPU, GPU Optional)
Pump, Grab a D5
Reservoir (many options)
Tubing. Comes in many sizes.
Radiator - 120, 240, 360, 480 (Basically go for 120mm per block minimum)
Fittings, (Barbs or Compression fittings, 2 per item) - Keep in mind if you use compression fittings you'll need to know both Inside Diameter ID and Outside Diameter OD of your tubing.

Check out Dazmode - Canadian Watercooling Store, Reviews and Community and watch his videos and check out the premade kits he's got listed they'll tell you a lot of info about what to get.

Take a look at the Swiftech Edge HD kits, they can start you off with the basics and from there you can add blocks or extra rads when you need them... Swiftech H2O-x20 Edge HD - PC Liquid Cooling Systems CPU Cooler VGA Water Block Heatsink Pump Radiator Heat Exchanger Kit

Compression fittings are nice to have. In addition to dazmode's videos which are really good, you can also check out linus tech tips watercooling videos. He did an update not too long ago. Do you have a big case? Make WC so much easier.

i really like that Swiftech kit has only ever used or own one? just trying to get some ideas.

imo do not buy a kit,cause you will want to be upgrading in no time.

if you want to be able to upgrade you can still get something like a raystorm kit that uses standard fittings.

well its not a extreme build its only a i3 lol, just kinda get my feet wet
