H60 fan screws

Hi guys..

so I got the H60 in silverstone TJ08-e in a pull only config

I want to add a second for a push-pull..

does anybody know what size screws I need to install the second fan?

If it's the same as the H100 as I assume it would be you'll be looking for #6-32 x 1 1/4" machine screws if you're using standard fans. Of course you'll need longer screws if you are running thicker than usual fans and shorter for thinner fans.

Corsair has the screw length on their website in the cooling faq section

The screw thread and length are 6 x 32 x 1 1/4"
#6 machine thread, 32 TPI (threads per inch), 1.25 inches in length.

Thanks guys!

I guess the next question would be, is there enough room to mount a second in push-pull on the h60?

yep plenty of room to mount two fans. the rad is the same thickness as the h100 and you can easily do a push pull on that.

mounted the second fan.. ended up jacking two screws from the back fan and installing them on the front fan

temps at 100% drop by 5-8c and returns to idle temp much faster

It seems i may be a little late, but what i did with my H50 in push pull is use 2 screws on each fan so i didn't have to get more screws.

yeah, that's what I did.. but when I have time I will get more screws just in case..

wonder if home depot or crappy tire have these screws?

Is there a significant improvment by adding the second fan?

Wow that is quite the temp difference. When I had a push pull on mine it only dropped by 1 or 2 degrees.

Home depot does in fact sell them but they only offer the silver ones last time I checked. :(
Crappy tire should carry them too.
