I never bought a low cost version. The original with the plastic top is normal only 10 15 USD more the the LC versions.

How do they fare compared to HK 3.0? I'm about to hit the check out button soon (once I figured that I have gotten everything i needed)

EDIT: nvm, I can't fit the block into my PC, the clearance of the top radiator prevents me from putting a fitting/tubing to the top half a 1366 block.

Unhappy

The AC HF is thermal the best performing block out there. The Derlin version has no backplate; it's mounted to the board. The block's back plate will more than likely come oxidized. They use dont Lacquer, and they probably been in storage for some time.
